Framed Pastel of Louis B. Williams, attributed to C.L. Lewin (American, Mid 19th C.), all original circa 1851, carved into back panel Louis Baine Geoff Williams, with a note taped onto back with information claiming this to be all original withthe exception of a new mat that was put on to preserve the pastel, however the frame still retains the original mat inside. This is also the original frame done by C. L. Lewin 1851. and signed off by CC. Thomas, York, PA, the purchaserof this piece from the Williams estate on 12/5/68 in Lancaster PA.
